Joyce's Story
Talk about some great memories. I think Lawton was a great place to grow up. The freedoms we had and the adventures were awesome. Too bad things change as it's not somewhere I would consider living today. Hate it that you tend to lose touch with friends you grew up with then.
I left Lawton in 1967 and moved to Arkansas where I lived until 1978. I then moved to California where I still live. Along the way I have been married, divorced and married. Have 3 kids of my own and 2 step daughters. They live in California, Las Vegas and Arkansas. Between them we have 9 grandkids, 5 girls and 4 boys aging from 19 down to 9 months.
I went back to college in 1971. Worked various jobs until I went to work for PG&E in California in 1979. I retired from there in 2005 as the Corporate Director o...Expand for more

I enjoy spending my time with friends and family. Love photographing different takes on outdoor scenes. Take various community college courses relating to photography. Still love fishing and the outdoors. Did a lot of ATVing trips with my family. Now am into doing home decorating. Love to go visit my kids and do home renovations (weekend warrior stuff) for them.
We have two wonderful Doxies named Max and Buddy. I feel they are the best indoor pets a person can have. Since we are empty nesters they definately fill that void. I also love to travel. We go to Mazatlan once a year and love to just kick back.
That's it in a nutshell. Would love to hear from friends I went to school with, ran around with, from LHS, Eisenhower and also the kids from Elgin.
